My brain scans showed no abnormalities so the headaches are unaccounted for, and all is well!  I guess it's just fibro in a different place.
A friend gave me some homeopathic tablets which have helped considerably with pain.  I can't give you information about them because they have disappeared from the website from where they were purchased.  If they come back online I will let you know.

"Fibromyalgia is Real"

Gemma Flood has worked hard to produce and promote the booklet "Fibromyalgia is Real".  The first issue of 3,000 copies was a sellout and now a second larger edition has been published.  It was launched on 7th July.  Gemma has donated over 1000 copies for UK fibromites for their own use and for sending to their GPs.
Beth Urmston from Fibro Flare Magazine will be distributing them.  She says "You can help. We need the address for GP surgeries to send them to. So far we have 5! e-mail us the details of surgeries close to you - fibroflaremag1@outlook.com
If you wish to purchase a booklet they will be on sale at £4 incl p&p. Details will be posted as soon as the booklets arrive here safely.
If you are able please donate towards the cost of posting out to GP's. £1 covers the postage. We will be inserting a letter (currently a role for our Awareness Group). We hope you agree this is a fantastic way to get others to understand how debilitating this condition is.
Please help us achieve our goals. Dr Joe McVeigh who teaches medical students has taken copies of the first booklet as a tool to use to help new doctor's coming through the system to be more understanding.
Gemma has done a fantastic job and deserves our thanks for sharing these booklets with us. Big round of applause and stand up and take a bow Gemma. X"

Fibromyalgia

Introduction - (to an overall view)
Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by pain in the muscles, ligaments, and tendons; fatigue; and multiple tender points on the body. While no one knows what causes fibromyalgia, there is evidence that people with the condition may be more sensitive to pain because something is wrong with the body's usual pain perception processes. More women than men have fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia, while different for everyone who has it, tends to come and go throughout life. It also tends to coexist with sleep disorders, anxiety, depression, and irritable bowel syndrome. Although fibromyalgia can be debilitating for some people, it is not degenerative or life threatening, and you can manage your symptoms and improve your quality of life with professional and self care.

Do we look/feel like this?

By way of contrast - I was mesmerized yesterday watching the semi-final tennis match at Wimbledon between Andy Murray and Roger Federer.  Such serves, skill, stamina and suspense!  How I admire the agility and ability of these players. I await the final match tomorrow with great anticipation.
